Aphra Brandreth MP has spoken in favour of, and supported Lord's Opposition amendments to the National Insurance Contributions Bill.
The measures introduced in the Bill will have wide-ranging consequences on employers and the economy for a number of reasons. However two amendments raised and supported in the House of Lords by Conservative Peers sought to amend the Bill to exempt hospices, GPs and transport providers for children with SEND from the Bill.
Aphra Brandreth MP spoke in the House of Commons on the importance of the amendments on her constituents, referencing St. Luke's Hospice in Winsford and The Hospice of the Good Shepherd in Backford.
