Talk for the Conservative Foreign and Commonwealth Council

Aphra was delighted to speak at the Conservative Foreign and Commonwealth Council's first event in 2023 alongside her father Gyles Brandreth, and H.E. Kevin M Isaac High Commissioner for St Kitts and Nevis. The talk, held in the House of Lords, was Chaired by Rt Hon Baroness Chalker of Wallasey FRGS, President of the CFCC, 

With the title, Getting to know 2.5 billion people through…. Wait for it… Poetry! this was a fantastic opportunity to share poems and stories across the Commonwealth, and to highlight the important work and role of the modern Commonwealth.

Aphra Brandreth is the curator of the Commonwealth Poetry Podcast, now downloaded in 77 countries.
